Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, painted between 1490 and 1500, is one of the most enigmatic works in the history of art. Across three panels, it leads from the Garden of Eden to a garden of earthly pleasures and finally to hell, filled with plants, creatures and hidden details.

For this exhibition, Simon Berger turned to Bosch's flora. He isolated floral motifs from the painting and transferred them onto panes of glass that act like windows, bringing them to life through controlled impact. What was flat on Bosch's panels gains depth in the glass, and the garden came alive through light, colour and transparency. Berger conceived the exhibition as a commentary on Bosch's imagery and on the beauty of light.

In the work Eden, the step from painting to space becomes an invitation: to enter the picture and discover what lies hidden behind the glass.
