Le verre dans tous ses éclats was Simon Berger's first institutional exhibition. At the Vitromusée Romont, Switzerland's museum of stained glass and glass art, his work entered into dialogue with the long history of the medium. Berger himself describes the exhibition as a milestone in his career.

For the museum, he created entirely new works. The building, the castle of Romont, combines historical and modern architecture, and it shaped the concept. Berger arranged the works to play with light and layered several portraits, creating a wide range of visual effects.

On the opening day, Berger gave a live demonstration in the castle courtyard as part of the Vitrofestival, and a video interview with the artist accompanied the exhibition. Originally planned until the end of August, the show was extended to 9 October.

The French title plays on a double meaning: éclats are both shards and bursts of brilliance.
